I rode 46 miles on Saturday with my sister Joelle. We're going to do the 100 next year, but since I hadn't trained AT ALL (as in, I have a bike. but I don't use it. ever.) and she has babies, we figured we'd just do a part this year. Check out http://www.bbtc.net/ or here's a brief explanation:
LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: June 7, 8 a.m., Wellsville. This women's-only ride will take more than 2,000 cyclists through Cache Valley for as many as 104 miles with full-service rest stops scattered along the way. It will also serve as a fundraiser for the Bonneville Cycling Club, with proceeds earmarked for breast cancer research at the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
With that in mind, we actually went in honor of Jenifer, Stevan's sister, who rode the 36 mile route after radiation the day before. She rocks.

Cool! I believe David's mom and two sisters did the Little Red this year, too. I'd love to do it sometime, if only I could manage to sit (and stay up) on a bike that long... Love the Wellsvilles pic!
You rock. Joelle too.
