Oh man! Behind AGAIN...

I'm sorry that I'm not very consistent when it comes to this blog. So far I've liked being THIRTY (though saying that is still kinda crazy). I've been seeing a neurologist/pain specialist and a physical therapist that both specialize in migraines and have felt SO much better. Migraines are down drastically. Yay! Hopefully I'll be able to stay up late sometime in the near future (as that is still the WORST trigger and there are some parties that are really hard for me to resist). :) All in time I guess. I definitely have realized that everyone has different struggles in life, and if mine means I can still do practically everything but just have to watch how much sleep I get and what I eat (no ice cream, sigh), then I'm doing a-okay. Plus, I'll finally have the whole stinking surgery paid for NEXT MONTH. I think I'll take a trip to celebrate the additional income coming to my pocket, before I shift a large portion to paying off my school loan (which is really measly, but I haven't worried since I got in with a ridiculously low interest rate). Jess and Jennie, we still need to organize a reunion. And my roomie might be getting married in Oklahoma. Which if that happens, I'm going to intrude on you Melissa.

The weather here is back to it's inconsistent self. Which means that I've been playing tennis in the sun the day after a snowstorm. I've got some decent snowboarding in--I am finally proficient enough to work on my technique... which is pretty horrible currently. ha! Here's some pictures of Eric's rugby game, my annual age pizza with my cute roommate Erin. And some boarding with Shane (a co-worker) and Erin.

Love!

Yay for a visit from Oertel! Though you will need to be saving your pennies for Europe, too, okay? :) Miss you!

How does your July look? Dave's family is going to Nauvoo and we're supposed to meet them there the last week of July. What about a couple of days the week before?

And where in Oklahoma is your friend getting married? We're only a couple hours from Oklahoma!

I'm not sure where in Oklahoma. And for now July is completely open. So that would totally work for me. Just let me know when and where! :)

Was the reference to Melissa for me?! I would LOVE an intrusion. We are just 2 1/2 hours or so from Nauvoo, so if you are in our neck of the Midwest, you HAVE to stop by!! You can stay a few days, a few weeks, a few months...I miss my Oertelly. I do plan on bringing a new life into this world the end of July, but just give me a day or two to do that and I'm all yours! Is Jen still in the Illinois, too, by the way? Love you, chica!

Yes, Melissa that was for you. And I miss you so much! It feels like, and it has been, forever. Every time we go to Tahoe I think about you. :)

Mom, NC might have to wait until Christmas, but I still think you need to come to Tahoe.
