I figured since I hadn't seen Josh, Laura, & crew in, well, pretty much all of their youngster's life I would go out to see the parents & Scott and get them all in one shot. It was so much fun! Mom and I hiked pretty much every day. (I've decided my body doesn't love humidity--or I don't. either way. sweating the instant I step outside? not my favorite. probably good for my skin or something. but I pretty much didn't put on makeup the whole time. and didn't bother showering until after we'd done our daily hiking...)
It was so good to see everyone! These pictures are from Lewisville (where they live), Blowing Rock area (Boone mansion--Boone Fork Trail), Hanging Rock, Pilot Mountain, Tanglewood... yeah. All over the place. It was fun to drive around and get to see the scenery. (Yet again, click on the slideshow if you want to check them out at a viewable size... :) ha)

Glad you got to come visit the beautiful state of NC again! You're so close! Let me know if you ever swing by the Raleigh area when you're out here... :)
