I haven't really told many people this, but I am applying for jobs. Just a few select ones that I think I'd really love. One that I was actually really excited about called me while at Tahoe for a phone interview. It went for an hour and a half and was reeeaaally good. Then she emailed me saying she wanted me to come out to NYC and meet her team. Then I went to Paris. Then she went on vacation. Then it is a school so it takes forever to set things up. Then they had to set up interviews with EIGHT people. All formal interviews. One day. (Oh, and that day it poured. And I gave myself a black eye by headbutting a towel rod. And it was all very funny.) They liked me and said they'd be in touch soon... but I know that could be anytime in the next month since it IS such a big institution and they have to go through all these channels. Either way, it was a fun trip. My interview was all day Tuesday, so I decided to head out early for the weekend and just see what it would be like to live there. :)

Any news?
They're currently checking my references. AND I had a phone interview with another place (the only other one I really have been interested in) yesterday. They want to fly me out for an interview too. SO, I'm pretty sure I'll have an offer in the next few weeks. CRAZY. I'm trying to convince mom and dad to have Christmas here at Joelle's place...
